“The Avengers!”, a Must See Movie!
May 15, 9:00 am

Well the Super Hero movie of all Super Hero movies finally came out this past week. Yep, I’m totally talking about “The Avengers!” With all of the hype and the continuous teasing with the additional clips at the end of each movie such as Iron Man, Captain America, and The Hulk. This amazing movie that has got everyone talking finally came out and lived up to the buildup.

I was lucky enough to get a movie ticket after it had been sold out for the whole weekend at the Cinetopia Living Room Theatre. For all of you 21 and ups out there, I definitely recommend going to one of these theaters. It’s a dining experience and wine or beer Vinetopia all in one while you relax and wait for the movie to start. Anyways, getting a seat to see the movie was the hard part but luckily I was able to purchase my ticket a few days prior.

With the anticipation of getting to see this movie and hearing all the praise from this movie, I can definitely tell you that the juice was worth the squeeze. I mean Wow! If you like action and lots of great humor you will really enjoy this one. I’d have to say this is the best one yet of the Super Hero movies by far.

Of all the characters: Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and the Hulk, I was really worried of how the Hulk was going to be in this one. Because in my opinion the Hulk was lame in all the other recent Hulk movies that have been made. Eric Bana and Edward Norton just didn’t cut it for the character of the Hulk to me. But then came this guy…Mark Ruffalo, he totally stole the show. He was absolutely great! He had humor and the awesome thing was…when he was in his Bruce Banner human form, he was so calm and relaxed. Mark Ruffalo you are definitely my favorite Hulk character! Not only that, but it was awesome to show that everyone was terrified of the Hulk being unleashed, even the other super heroes. Just brilliant!

In conclusion, I feel if you don’t go see the Avengers then you are definitely missing out on a movie that has it all: Comedy, suspense, action, drama and a whole lot of butt whooping.

One Crazy Weekend
May 03, 8:00 am

This past week has been a very busy week of events and I was lucky enough to go to them. 
I actually had two events this past weekend; one was a PR event for Ghost Recon Future Soldier where we showcased our skills at Ghost Recon Future Soldier and show press how to play and a Propel Just Dance 3 Event. They were both held in LA so I was able to visit friends and just have a good time. This is a brief video of all the Shenanigans.

Winter is Coming!

Metadata –Winter is Coming!

It’s almost April and finally Winter is almost here because Season 2 of the Game of Thrones is upon us! The worst part of a TV series or sequel is waiting a year to see the next season. Game of Thrones Season 2 has been something I have been eagerly anticipating and I just can’t wait to see what drama builds and who is given the axe. I know, I know, I could just read the books by George R. R. Martin but I didn’t want to spoil the action and excitement of what is to come.  Plus me and reading technically don’t go hand in hand, I usually lose focus after reading the cover.

I recently bought the Blu-Ray Pack to catch up on my Season 1 antics, so that I’m fully prepared to enter Season 2 without missing a beat of what is going on. Watching it over again has definitely got me up to speed.  Now I don’t really want to go into specifics with what happens from last year’s episodes because I’m not a spoiler for those who have not seen the series by HBO. But I will give some feedback on my thoughts and how the season did progress. The most important thing you need to know about this show is don’t fall in love with any one character because you never know when that person is suddenly killed in the show. I learned this the hard way because I didn’t have a clue about this show before I was a few episodes in and realizing all my favorite characters were on episode life support or were already dead.

The basis of this show is set in a Medieval Fantasy World and is staged in the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros. Game of Thrones chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the kingdom’s noble families for control of the Iron Throne. While the inner struggle or “Game of Thrones” is played, the dramatic chaos explodes into a large scaled war, additional threats from the snow and ice covered region north of Westeros and from the eastern continent across a narrow sea are simultaneously beginning to rise. Basically its setting up the show for an all-out war for the Iron Throne and all the while there are creatures North of the Wall called White Walkers which are undead that have come out of a kind of reverse-hibernation of many years waiting for the winter to come. As we have not seen too much of the white walkers to this point I’m expecting more in season 2 and I’m guessing the huge battles among the nobles armies according to the trailer of season 2.

Basically if you are fan of medieval and fantasy worlds and lots of action this is definitely a must for you.  The acting alone is amazing and the show won many awards at the awards festivals and was nominated for 13 Emmy awards. Overall HBO has done a wonderful job producing this show and according to HBO they have already signed the show for season 3 and 4 as well.  Remember there are only two things certain in Game of Thrones, never get too comfortable with any one character and Winter is most certainly coming!

My Dad Can Beat Up Your Dad…at Video Games

Metadata –My Dad can Beat Up your Dad...at video games

It’s always good to have father-daughter time. Usually going out to dinner with the parents or going to a movie or an event is what people normally do. But my parents are different, especially my dad. I am definitely a daddy’s girl and this past weekend I was able to hang out with my dad in the best way possible! We had a marathon, yes a gaming marathon. We ended up playing video games over 19 hours straight and of course drinking energy drinks and snacking away on the most unhealthy foods possible.

My dad ended up coming up to visit for the weekend so we planned on doing a marathon to spend some quality time together since we both are huge gamers. I knew my room needed a make-over in order to have enough room for my dad’s ego and mine in the same room. I ended up shifting everything over on my desk and put a 42 inch flatscreen from my bedroom for my dad and a 27 inch View Sonic monitor for myself. We stocked up the fridge with all sorts of goodies like Powerade, Rock Star and for the end ice-cream and of course calories or fat. 

Now to tell you a little bit about my family, my mom is the only normal and sane one in the family and my dad and I have always been the goofy and sarcastic ones. Usually when you get older and the kids go to visit the parents’ house to raid the refrigerator and use up the internet and whatever goodies parents usually have. Well, my dad drives three and a half hours mainly for my internet connection for gaming, oh and to harass me as well. Just like me my dad is a hardcore gamer, he may not have the skills like I do for it, but bless his little heart he tries.

Not all dads are hardcore gamers like my dad and I’m blessed to have a father that has similar interests as me. I think it’s important to find something that you and your dad can enjoy together whether it be video games, watching baseball or staring at chicks together the main thing is that you’re spending the quality time with your parents because before you know it time can just slip by. LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD!

10 Thing You Might Not Know About Fidget

Metadata –10 Things You Might Not Know About Fidget

Being with the Frag Dolls for almost 3 years, I’ve realized that I’ve never told you really anything about myself. I decided to write this blog to tell some things that you might not know about me. So here’s ten things...

1. I was a Missionary when I was a teenager
When I was 14 years old I went to Mexico and Thailand through Teen Mania Ministries. The Mexico trip was my first missionary trip.  It was for 2 weeks of building houses and feeding the needy throughout the trip.
The second missionary trip was to Bangkok, Thailand. Probably the best experience of my life being able to give back to society. We did dramas at schools, helped out in soup kitchens and helped build homes for people.

2. I am a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do
When I was the age of 5 through about 10 years old, I took tae kwon do. My bio father felt like I needed to get tougher so he enrolled me. Throughout the course of learning I accomplished being second and third in State for my age group. Plus during that time I also beat up my first bully at the age of 9. So it came in handy...

3. I was born in Indonesia
I always get the question, “What ethnicity are you?” Normally no one ever gets my ethnicity right. I am half Indonesian...but not very many people know that I was actually born overseas. Yes, I’m a foreigner....which means, dang I can never be president. I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and came over to the States when I was 7 months old. It’s a long story of how I got over here but my biological mom is writing the book.

4. I owned a monkey
Before I moved to the States (and being in Indonesia) I actually owned a spider monkey. Do I remember him? Nope, I was only a baby but my mom always talked about how he always ate my food as a baby and the baby pics.

5. I’m a Great Aunt
I come from a weird family. My biological mom is 70 years old and I have a brother and two sisters that are in their 50’s so this means that I have nephews. But sadly no nieces just 9 nephews. I get my competitiveness was from my second oldest nephew John that used to build computers for fun and kick my butt at video games. He’s 4 years older than me but if it wasn’t for him I probably wouldn’t have turned out to be a gamer. Anyways, I have my oldest nephew that’s now 31 to my youngest being 10 years old. But one of my nephews has a baby boy. I will officially be a great great great aunt probably by the time I die.

6. I never went to a Public School
Yes, I guess you can say I’m one of those kids. I was home schooled most of my young life or went to a christian school. My biological mom is very religious and thought that being home schooled was the best for me. I have nothing against it, but being thrown out into the world and not knowing what to expect was a bit difficult.

7. I went to college for music
When I graduated I really was into music since I played all the time for my church, I wanted to make music my career. Obviously I changed that. I went to Eugene Bible College for a year until I decided that music was only going to be a hobby for me.

8. Ezio was my first Dog
Growing up I always lived in a duplex or an apartment so owning a dog was impossible. About 6 months ago I decided to get a Pekingese and named him Ezio. Yes, I totally name him Ezio because I’m a huge Assassins Creed fan. Plus he is also a dare devil.

9. I’m OCD about eating Wings
Now I get this a lot when I eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on UFC nights. But when I get an order of wings I eat everything, yes everything besides the actual bone. I do the whole breaking of the bones and even eat the marrow. Don’t Judge Me! That’s just my thing that I do. rasberry

10. I’m afraid of escalators
It’s not that I can’t use an escalator but I just really don’t like being on them. I don’t know why, just that way. One time I actually got my shoe lace caught and thought I was going to be sucked in at the end of the escalator.

Well, that’s some things that not too many people really know about me.smile
