Over the last few years I had gained a steady interest in Battlestar Galactica. So, this summer I started watching the television series. Slowly and steadily I worked my way through the seasons, so I had to re-view a few episodes after any long breaks from the series. I got my dad’s curiosity about the show piqued after I gushed about how grand it is, so he caught up and we tried to watch most of the last season together. We held off on watching the last episode for a dreadfully long time because we didn’t want it to end. Eventually we caved to our need to know how the series closed. After completing Battlestar Galactica, I was glad to watched it and that it wasn’t an entirely terrible ending.

It is hard to nail down a definite favorite character with this series, but a standout for me is Starbuck, a blonde firecracker and one of the main female protagonists. She’s an enigmatic pilot whose story was one of the most interesting for me to follow. Ensuing empathy that her vices, values and flaws shared such similarity with my own set of them drew me to her even more.. so there, I drew her back.
