I know that Psyche beat me to it, but I too am learning a new language. Spanish is my fancy and I have many reasons for this move into the cultural world of linguistics. Firstly I have always been bad at languages; secondly my brother speaks more languages than I do, which as all good sibling rivalry goes must be stopped; and thirdly when I went to Tenerife recently something very sad happened. You see, I like to be a little bit cultural on holidays - meeting the locals and seeing the sites off the beaten tourist track. However, I found myself one night winning the pub quiz in a decidedly British bar, full of decidedly British people. This was very fun, but I could have done it right here in London. I want to mingle and My Spanish Coach is going to let me do just that… now where is my stylus?
