Ever come home and balked at the prospect of all the little jobs that need to be done, like tidying up your room, organising a night out, or buying in some food for the weekend? I have. If I take my finger off the pulse for just a couple of days, I can find myself with a veritable mountain of ticklesome tasks. Seperately these are no big deal: together they can be quite overwhelming. The same can be said about video games.
Recently I’ve been avoiding my gaming machines. They feel too demanding. Every one of them has a feast of games available, and I don’t want to deal with the hassle of picking and balancing what to play. So I don’t play any. I’m also not one of those people who can have several games on the burn at once. At most, I can juggle four at a time if they’re of different genres. However, I still keep on buying games. Stupid? Well, yes. I think I need another lifetime to clear out the backlog of titles I own. So I made a videoblog to rant about my current chaotic condition, whilst at the same time encouraging it.
Confused? So am I.
