I’ll tell you a little secret - just between you and I, understand. Around a month or two ago, I got see Far Cry Instincts: Predator in a little hotel room in London, long before even the official title had been announced. And I was offered biscuits. Lots of biscuits. They might even have had jam in the middle - not me, you understand. Jam in a biscuit? Don’t be ridiculous.
Far Cry Instincts: Evolution is the next chapter of Far Cry Instincts on the Xbox. For those of you acquainted with the previous title, we’re talking new guns, new vehicles, new multiplayer maps and modes, new feral abilities, and an entirely new single player story - with Jack’s eyebrows even bushier than ever! Led astray by a mysterious woman in a red dress (what is it about mysterious women and red dresses anyway?), he finds himself back in a tropical paradise, but this time framed for a murder he didn’t commit. Though of course, you could argue that really he renders this accusation irrelevant by proceeding to go out out and murder lots of people to prove his innocence. But I suppose it would be a bit of a boring game if he merely made a point by writing an angry letter to his local MP…
Far Cry Instincts: Predator on the other hand, is for those fortunate enough to have acquired an Xbox 360. Predator gives you both Far Cry Instincts and Far Cry Instincts Evolution, and combining them into one super-sexy package (ooh-er), with all the new features and the added-bonus of 360s mighty hamster power.
So, if you’re thinking of buying the game or have already bought the game and fancy taking a sneaky peak at Far Cry Instincts Predator in its development stages, have a gander at my interview with Betrand Helias, the producer.
Of course, you may also find the interview of interest if you’re just waiting for the kettle to boil, hiding from an angry kitchen sink, or just like shiny red hair.
