My new addiction- Monster Burner

I have had an iPad for a while now and I just now understand how amazing this thing is. Obviously, games are one of the top apps downloaded and finding good ones can be difficult. Until recently, I haven’t found one that has kept my attention for too long. I saw Ubisoft Montreal just released a new app called Monster Burner last week and I had to give it a try.

After downloading Monster Burner, I realized learning the game was easy, but strategizing to get the most points is what makes this game challenging; and being challenged is what we Frag Dolls love the most!
Monster Burner has been designed for touch-based controls, giving your fingers the perfect daily workout. The whole objective of the game is to protect your castle and save your princesses from waves of multiple monsters, using fire-balls and fire spells. You are given a limited supply of manna to power your fire and are rewarded with coins to buy more manna, more lives, and new spells. For the inpatient gamer, you also have the option to buy more coins from the Monster Burner shop in the main menu screen, averaging from ninety-nine cents up to fourteen ninety-nine. Also, the more coins you have, the better odds of becoming the ultimate Monster Burner.
The main menu also gives you the chance to look over the leader boards and see how well you are doing against your friends and the rest of the world. My goal is to be at least in the top 25 leaderboards overall. You have the option to turn on or off your play with friends only button. I personally like to turn on my play with friends only and try to beat them first before I try to beat the rest of the world. While in game, if you’re about to beat a friend’s score, their Openfeint name and picture will show up as an enemy to hit. Doing this lets you know you just beat their score, making you feel awesome.

Another amazing feature added to the game is the “kids mode”. Having two small children myself, it can be a challenge to keep them quite when needed. Problem solved, hand them your iPad, put it on Kids Mode, and keep them entertained and active. Don’t worry about them messing up your score or it being too difficult. Kids Mode enables them to have unlimited manna to destroy all those little nasty monsters.
With amazing maps and levels, from icy mountains to ghoulish graveyards, you’re sure to enjoy the variety the game has to offer. If your busy life makes it hard to pick up and play games, have no fear of having to start over. The game picks up right where you left off. If you want to play the Monster Burner for yourself and try to beat my scores, you can download it exclusively for the iPad today on the Apple App Store.
