Here at Frag Dolls UK, we like to keep things ‘in der famileee.’
No, we don’t sleep with our relatives or break each other’s knee-caps - we’re proud to have a friendly and thriving forum community, and always strive to keep it that way.
With the sweltering heat (note: anything above 20°C) of summer, the ENDLESS TEDIUM of a certain sports tournament, and having already run out of biscuits, it is easy to become bored and listless. And that’s why we at Frag Dolls UK devised one of our toughest challenges yet, and threw it open to our forumers.
If you thought Battle of The Dolls pushed your skills to the limit - think again! This was a far fiercer beast. We are talking blood, sweat and tears - and maybe even a few hugs - before bedtime.
Yes, it’s The Great FDUK Painting Competition!
With Frag Dolls UK, we like to think we’re at the cutting edge of new technology. That’s why, when we asked you to draw an image to best reflect your favourite gaming moment from any game of your choice, we chose Microsoft’s ‘Paint.’ Because at the end of the day, it is passion - not skill - that is the most important attribute of a gamer.
... And, er… I couldn’t be bothered to learn a more advanced graphics package. Sorry!
The entries flooded in, and fine quality they were too. We deliberated. We dithered. We bit our nails until they BLED… Well, maybe not. I mean, EW! What the hell is your problem anyway? Do you know what that can do to your personal hygiene?
And finally - WE HAVE A WINNER! ... And of course, not to forget our runner-up!
chelseablueman‘s winning depiction of the death of Aeris and Cloud’s vengence will ring true for any fan of Final Fantasy VII.
Chucklebuck‘s runner-up winner, with a rather ‘minimalist’ portrayal of the video game daddy - Pong!
Both winners walk away with a goodie bag, and here are some entries that we at Fraggy Land just had to mention.
... And a big ‘well done’ to everyone who entered!
The competition is now closed, but we’ll be running competitions just like this one as a permanent fixture on our Frag Doll UK forum. So why not pop in and put your ‘skillz’ to the limit - and have a cup of tea, of course.
