The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert
Jan 06, 9:00 am

I have many fond memories blowing into a golden Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) cartridge and cheering for my brother as he ventured through countless dungeons filled with bats and living skeletons, issuing commands via a square controller. Twenty two years later, you can imagine my excitement and supreme fan-girling as I walked through the halls decked with banners of Hyrule throughout the Pantages Theater on October 21, 2011. Growing up with a game genre that was created in the year of my birth, I have seen it evolve from a pixelated 8-bit game, to the astonishing 3-D graphics on the Nintendo 64, to being able to completely embody Link on his adventures on the Nintendo Wii. The Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Concert was nothing short of surreal. Listening to a live orchestra, my mind swept back through the Zelda games and touched my heart in ways only live music can. I was a kid again.
I hope you all enjoy this little video that I created in commemoration of this special day.
