Of all the things Frag Doll represents, contributes to, defends, takes part in, and aspires to none has been more important to us than the online community. Making videos and going to photo shoots is fun and new. Doing interviews, where we get a chance to explain our role and promote it, is important for us. Playing games is something we’ve always done and now that it’s our jobs… well you can imagine what that’s like for us. Being a part of the online community is amazing but feeling like we are really contributing to drawing that community together and helping to offer a more positive, warmer experience to online gamers is something that’s more than fun, more than our job, it’s something we are immensely proud of.

At Christmas we all got together and had a face to face chat about our online experiences and found them to be more rich and varied than any of us could have ever previously imagined. People really do play online for the widest variety of reasons. For many the online community is how they wind down or let off steam. For some it’s just a more rich gaming experience than playing alone. For some people Xbox Live is their legs. Online everyone is healthy, can run, can die and rise again. No one is old or the wrong colour. Those notions of equality may seem like wishful thinking to some reading this but as Frag Dolls people often open up to us about their lives, while we’re waiting for a room to fill up or whatever. They know who we are. We’re never going to turn on them or be unreliable or give away their secrets and so they tell us about their lives. One of the things we are beginning to hear more and more is how much more fun people have been having since meeting other gamers through Frag Dolls and that their friend lists are filling up with like minded gamers who are all about having fun together not pwning n00bs and swearing at strangers.

Those who’ve been with Frag Dolls the longest and have spent the most time playing together online and chatting on our forum have gotten together and formed Frag Legion UK. Us girls are just chuffed to bits that FLUK have gotten together and started up their own website. We wish the Legion the greatest of luck. If you’re a supporter of Frag Dolls and like the friendly community we’ve build up online come play a few games with us and let one of the Legion members know that you are looking to be recruited. Check out their website at http://www.frag-legion.uk.net
