SPECTRA’S TOP 5 FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S II
I love fancy phones. When the opportunity came for me to use and review a brand new Samsung Galaxy S II I jumped at the opportunity. I currently have an old iPhone 3G and I am in the market for an upgrade, could this be the droid I’m looking for?
My cell phone needs are fairly straightforward. I need a phone I can take photos and shoot video with. I need to be able to access multiple email accounts, I want an easy to navigate contact list, quick access to apps and games, built in social media support, the ability to surf the internet, navigation that’s simple to use, easy texting and the ability to make calls quick. I rely heavily on my phone to do my job when I’m away at events, so it’s got to rock!
Here are my Top 5 favorite things about the new Samsug Galaxy S II.
#1. Display & Resolution:
The Samsung Galaxy S2 has a much larger screen than my iPhone 3G. While the display on my iPhone is just fine the Samsung Galaxy S II has beautiful crisp images and a screen that is twice as bright even in the daytime. I am always using my phone as a makeshift flashlight. This bright screen comes in handy when I’m looking for something in the dark or when I’m trying to navigate a dark hallway holding a baby.

#3. Two Cameras:Here is where my iphone really dates itself. I only have one camera on my iPhone 3G and it’s only a 3 megapixel camera. The Galaxy S II blows doors on my ancient camera phone. Even though the front-facing camera is only 2 megapixels the main camera is an 8-megapixel camera with a flash. Both cameras can record video at 1080p and 720p. Having two cameras is essential for video calling, something the Samsung Galaxy S II does very well.
#4. Body and Design:I love the sleek design and the light-as-a-feather weight of the Galaxy S II. I love how this phone feels in my hands. My iPhone 3 looks archaic next to this beautiful new shinny phone. The Samsung Galaxy S II wins for its sleek light-weighted, impossibly thin body and beautiful design.
#5. The Samsung Galaxy S II supports Flash.
