Accepting Cadette Applications for the Class of 2012!

Happy New Year and Happy New Cadette Academy! As Siren mentioned in her blog yesterday, we’ve made some big changes to the Cadette Academy in order to provide our Cadettes with more opportunities, more industry training, and more fun! Here are some of the changes we’ve made:

CHANGES TO THE CADETTE ACADEMY

Longer Duration

We are increasing the length of the Cadette classes from 6 months to 12 months. Each new Cadette class will begin in January and end in December, which will give us more time to work with our Cadettes!
Smaller Classes

As much as we would love to accept tons of girls into the Cadette Academy, we’ve found that having a large number of Cadettes decreases the amount of attention we can give to each Cadette. This means that we’re changing the number of women that we will accept in our Cadette Class of 2012.
Industry Training

Based on feedback from our Veteran Cadettes, we’ve decided to provide more emphasis on training in all things marketing. This includes (but is not limited to) digital marketing, social media initiatives, promotions, campaign creation, community management, and content creation.
Class Project

Starting in 2012, each class of Cadettes will be tasked with creating a class project. This can range from creating and hosting an online event, devising and completing a charity project, or anything involving a long-term marketing or promotional campaign.

If you’re interested in applying to the Cadette Academy for 2012, please use the following Application Instructions below. Please Note: Veteran Cadettes may apply for the Class of 2012.
