Sabre Travels to the Maryland Renaissance Festival!

‘Tis the season for light jackets, raking leaves, and the smell of pumpkin spice!  Fall is finally here, and with it opens one of my favorite places to visit: the Maryland Renaissance Festival.

The Maryland Renaissance Festival (affectionately called the ‘Renn Faire’) is located in Annapolis, MD and is the second largest Renn Faire in the nation.  The faire is a great place to take a step back in time to the Renaissance era. The food is excellent (if a little high in calories), the shows are fun, and the atmosphere is like nothing else you’ve experienced.  I look forward to visiting every year, and this year I decided to share with you some of my experiences!

If you think the Renn Faire looks exciting but you don’t live in Maryland, fear not!  There are multiple Renaissance Festivals around the country, and I implore you all to venture forth and find your nearest Renn Faire to experience it for yourselves!
