A few months ago, an extremely talented photographer and good friend of mine named Julian Vankim asked me to work with him on a face paint-themed photoshoot. Usually I work with Julian on class projects (he’s attending school for a degree in photography) or spur-of-the-moment photoshoots, but this time Julian’s goal was to not only work with me, but also a famous face painter named Brady Neher. 

As soon as I agreed to the shoot, I immediately looked up Brady’s work on the internet. After seeing his work, I knew that this wouldn’t be a “standard” photoshoot, and I knew that I had to capture the experience in more than just still pictures.
